I vanish through a side tunnel and exit the caves with a swish of my cloak.

"Ha ha...uh..."

The creature chucks one more boulder at the Citadel, perhaps a bit nervously. Arrows respond in kind. The creature cowers behind his remaining boulder, using it as a shield, begins to vanish...

...and is swallowed by Thrash's mountain, entombed there, the only escape being the Refractive Facet.

"And what do you plan to do with me? I did not seek to betray you, haha! I merely wished to get out of the sticky situation you yourselves landed me in! Ha! Good work!
As is my tradition, I will give you great payment for my ransom - but before I may do so, you must answer a riddle. Do you accept these terms?"

I would, as imprisoner. I don't believe that any riddler can outfox our Yerkan.

Stay in there a bit longer to give people a chance to change my mind, if they wish.

What are the terms of the riddle? I would not want it to be such that one over-excitable contender answers the question early without proper thought and ruins all for the rest of us.

"Oh, I think it will be clear enough when you've reached the point of giving up...Keep guessing until that day arrives.
Your prison will not hold me forever - you're too cheapskated for that. I knew this condition when I entered the mountain, though of course I didn't know you had your own plans aside from attacking. Ha! Keep the terms loose. I'm giving you this chance to test your intellect against mine - I'm not here to lawyer you to death."

I am aware that the prison will not hold you forever; it isn't even exactly what I had in mind. Nevertheless, I would be quite happy to test my intellect. I accept.
