I will contribute. Why don't you tell us how much you'll need and we'll split it evenly among those of us present?

How does adamaswork? Can it be shifted?

I'm assuming it cannot for now. But I expect it can be imitated.

Yerkan, Durin, we need to get the Sslug of Temptation into your walls. Let's see if we can get it to continue its message there with an illusion.

I'm not the master of illusion, but I AM the master of earth. That should help immensely. Then Yerkan is Trickery and Aides has Magic and Trickery. Durin is the technician who's seen the Sslug's programming.

Should be easy.

Indeed. Some of my funds will be available as well.

I myself will occupy the palaces, appearing to converse with facades of Durin and go about my work in the beautiful halls. But the moment the sslug enters, I will vanish, leaving little traps behind.

We may be able to simply shift Durin's home right overtop the message and the sslug inscribing it.

A little bit of space-bending!

I think we should use the Council Portal on the Watchtower and let the walls take care of the offense Sslugs. If the walls don't hold here, the portal doesn't help.

Whereas I can't imagine the Watchtower failing.

Adamas is fundamental fabric. It cannot be shifted. Even the amount carved by the Sslug bears dangerous consequences for the structure of this Universe.

Osis, the Sslug of Temptation mindlessly follows your misdirection. Its acids eat through the misdirected extra earth and magically bent space to the fundamental adamas surface beneath, continuing its message as it finds itself in Durin's home domain.

Amatin, the Sslug of Frost, is already within the walls raining down powerful blasts from its eyestalks. It does not rip up adamas unless Mix, the Sslug of Apathy, wills it with DM Favor. Any defenders who get in the way are subject to the withering gaze of the eyestalks, losing motive power or dying immediately.

This plan...receives my support...as Thrash suggests. I gather the giants to assist in the spell-weaving...and the crafting of Durin...

Durin, what are the exact specifications on the council portal? Discerning exactly which traits to filter out should be simple enough, but we will also need to move it to the watchtower.

Thrash, I suggest when this is complete, we move Durin's home once more, to a place up high where all can see what happens if you cross the Council. I would say we send it to orbit as a satellite, making a mockery of the flying citadel, but we have no experts in flight... On the other hand, what is gravity if not an extension of Earth. With a little calculation, I don't see why we could not do exactly that.

Ha! Sounds funny to me.

Unfortunately, with the palace in orbit, it simply becomes easier for the Citadel to break the Sslugs free.

A moving target would be much harder to reach than the sessile target on the Earth. We would simply fling it in such a way as the excite some chaos and randomness to its movements, such that you could never predict which way it might be headed.

But we are getting ahead of ourselves. We can move the Portal to the watchtower, but how do we stop Mix from simply paying his way out of the Watchtower? For the other two, I think we will be fine as soon as Durin gets back with those walls.

Urg, that is a good point. Perhaps we can attack Mix while keeping the other two out of the way.
